Terms of Service

Last updated: May 20, 2025

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of Ollum's services (“Ollum”, “we”, “us”). By using Ollum you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Use of the Service

You may use Ollum only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You must be at least 16 years old to use the service. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your GitHub OAuth credentials.

2. Your Content

You retain ownership of your repositories and commit history. By using Ollum you grant us a limited license to read your commit messages and metadata via GitHub webhooks solely to operate the service. You are responsible for the content you publish on your public changelog and status pages.

3. Acceptable Use

You must not:

  • Use Ollum to publish illegal, harmful, or abusive content.
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer or access the service beyond its intended API.
  • Resell or sublicense the service without written permission.

4. Subscription and Billing

Free plan features are provided at no charge and may change with notice. Paid plans are billed monthly or annually via Polar. You may cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. We do not offer refunds for partial periods unless required by applicable law.

5. Service Availability

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uptime. We may perform maintenance that temporarily interrupts the service. We will communicate planned downtime in advance when possible.

6. Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. You may close your account at any time from your account settings. On termination, your public pages will be taken offline.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

The service is provided “as is” without warranty of any kind. We do not warrant that AI-generated changelog entries will be accurate or complete — they are drafts for your review.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Ollum's total liability for any claim arising from use of the service is limited to the fees you paid in the 12 months preceding the claim.

9. Changes

We may update these Terms and will note the revision date. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by applicable law. Any disputes will be resolved in good faith by contacting us first at the email below. If we cannot resolve a dispute informally, both parties agree to submit to the jurisdiction of the courts competent for the matter.
